"Coal of Russia and Mining-2023": "Wider than Kuzbass! Deeper than Coal!"

From June 6 to June 9, 2023, the XXXI International Specialized Exhibition of Mining Technologies - "Coal of Russia and Mining" will reopen its doors for visitors and exhibitors at the Kuzbass Fair exhibition complex.

Coal of Russia and Mining is the main annual industry event dedicated to mining technologies, which for 31 years has been a place of attraction for leading Russian and foreign producers in the "coal heart" of Russia - Novokuznetsk. The event brings together all sectors of the mining industry and is a unique platform for demonstrating the latest technologies, organizing professional discussions and sharing experiences, strengthening old and establishing new business ties.

During its work, the exhibition has grown into a modern cross-industry project that has a great impact on the development of mining and manufacturing enterprises not only in Russia, but throughout the world. So, in 2022, over 450 companies from 12 countries took part in the exhibition, 44,398 people visited, most of whom were technical specialists, business leaders, representatives of academia and government agencies.

In 2023, Novokuznetsk celebrates its 405th anniversary. For four centuries the city has gone from a small fortress to the center of heavy industry throughout Russia, so it is no coincidence that the XXXI exhibition will be timed to coincide with the anniversary of the city.

Coal of Russia and Mining unites companies operating in all industries related to the mining sector of the economy. Manufacturers of equipment, special equipment, tools and accessories, service companies, mining companies and metallurgical plants are presented in more than 30 thematic sections.

This year Novokuznetsk will gather as industrial giants such as Kopeysky Machine Plant, Ilma, BELAZ, Hitachi, Camozzi Pneumatic, Lukoil, Rosneft, Plant of Modular Degassing Plants, Ural Plant of Conveyor Belts, SMT Sharf, SUEK, CHETRA, TANGSHAN SHENZHOU MANUFACUTING CO, Tomsk cable plant, Kamsky cable, SANYI, Kurgan Machine-Building Plant, Gazprom, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, ASI Engineering Center, as well as start-up manufacturers and other industry leaders.

“For more than 30 years, the Russian Coal and Mining exhibition has been helping manufacturers, suppliers, mining and service companies find each other and solve urgent problems. Last year, in response to market challenges, we significantly expanded the list of participants with manufacturers related to coal industries, including metallurgy, metalworking, mechanical engineering and others. We also continue to support local manufacturers who systematically occupy the vacated niches and present domestic developments to the industry market.

And this trend will only intensify. This year the exhibition will be held under the motto “Wider than Kuzbass! Deeper than Coal! This is how we want to show that we continue to expand the directions of the exhibition both in terms of industries and in terms of the shares of companies - participants, both from Russia and from Turkey, China and India. The exhibition opens up great opportunities for the development and expansion of local industries. This approach will allow all market participants to learn the most relevant industry trends, find potential partners and customers, replenish the base of their business contacts and, as a result, lay a solid foundation for the future of the economy,” said Albina Buneeva, Director of Kuzbass Yarmarka LLC.
