MMK continues to develop customer services
To do this, you need to scan the QR code and receive an electronic copy of the certificate on the screen of your mobile device. This service has been available since June 2019. The work on the implementation of QR codes on the certificates was carried out by specialists of MMK-Informservice LLC (organization of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works Group of Companies) together with the quality control and product acceptance department of MMK. Previously, the authenticity of the quality certificate was carried out on the company's website and required specifying the certificate details. The new development is part of a large-scale program of digitalization of business processes at MMK, designed not only to reduce production costs, but also to improve the convenience of using the company's services for customers. Also, MMK has developed a service for providing shipping data in electronic form. Customers can quickly receive information about the shipment of purchased metal products to use this data directly in their information systems, which makes it possible to speed up operations for unloading wagons, eliminate the human factor when processing shipping documents. This service is provided free of charge, the service is used by the main metal consumers of PJSC MMK, including PJSC ChTPZ, AO OMK, AO Volzhsky Pipe Plant. In addition to operational online services, PJSC MMK provides legally significant documents in including certificates of quality and invoices, through the electronic document management system (EDM). This makes it possible to bring the exchange of documents between the enterprises participating in the system to a new level and to abandon paper workflow. Currently, work is underway to provide electronic copies of quality certificates for the products of PJSC MMK, signed with an electronic digital signature, to all clients of the company.
