Towards New Horizons: PIR Group at the Coal of Russia and Mining 2024 Exhibition
From June 4 to 7, 2024, Novokuznetsk hosted the 32nd Ugol Rossii i Mining exhibition, the largest event in the mining industry. The general partner of the event was the PIR Group (Partnership, Investments, Development), the official distributor of heavy quarry equipment SANY Heavy Equipment. At its stand, the company presented the largest exhibit of the entire exposition - the SANY SET240S quarry dump truck with a lifting capacity of 220 tons. In addition, the company's development strategy was presented, in particular, an emphasis was placed on an integrated approach to solving customer problems: from service support to logistics services of the new PIR-Logistics division. Continuous improvement is one of the Group's key values, and it proves this not in words, but in deeds. The scale of the equipment presented at the exhibition is growing year after year. Thus, in 2023, the SANY SET150S dump truck was presented in Kuzbass. The vehicle had a lifting capacity of 150 tons with improved dynamics and an energy recovery system during braking, significantly reducing fuel consumption. This year, PIR Group broke its own record and presented an even bigger giant - the SET240S dump truck. The vehicle with a capacity of 147 cubic meters and a weight of 390 tons can withstand up to 220 tons of cargo, is equipped with three Weichai WP17 turbocharged diesel engines, two electric motors and an electromechanical transmission. The dump truck is quite easy to operate and can reach speeds of up to 65 km/h.
Along with large-sized equipment, PIR Group also provides Russian customers with other equipment: a 160-ton SRT95C quarry dump truck, SY1250H, SY2000H and SANY SY750H crawler excavators equipped with CUMMINS engines.
In addition, PIR Group offered its regular and potential customers expanded service support options: from ordering, delivery, warranty and post-warranty service to financial support for transactions. The company also recently organized a new division - PIR-Logistics, thanks to which customers now have the opportunity to transport SANY equipment and spare parts to any point in Russia more economically and conveniently.
Andrey Cherepanov, Head of Imported Special Equipment and Foreign Economic Activity at PIR Group, spoke in more detail about the comprehensive offer and further development plans. He spoke at the interactive session "New Times - New Heroes" on June 6, 2024:
