In the beginning there was MITEX...
From November 5 to 8, 2024, the 17th Moscow International Exhibition of Tools, Equipment and Technologies MITEX will be held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds. The event will traditionally become a meeting place for leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, industrial and service companies with consumers. Regular participants and visitors know that the exhibition increases its turnover every year, becoming a better version of itself.
The tool industry has its origins in MITEX
The exhibition is at the origins of the development of the tool industry in modern Russia. From 1998 to 2008, the event was held under the name InterTOOL, and after rebranding, it continued its work as MITEX (Moscow International Tool Expo). At this event, enterprises and distributors first met leading global brands, products of domestic companies were presented, partnerships that are still in effect were concluded, and global changes in the international market were discussed. For many companies, the platform played a special role, becoming the debut of their appearance in the world. Today, they are the market leaders, as is the exhibition – NUMBER 1 in tool Russia. Each of the 17 years contributed its own flavor, unique experience, understanding of the vector of further development, and the desire for constant improvement and growth to the history of MITEX.
2023 brought together 1,052 companies from Russia and other countries on a site of 40,800 sq. m. In 2024, an expansion of the area is traditionally expected due to the increase in the number of participants. In addition, the presence of foreign companies, including representatives of the People's Republic of China, is significantly increasing.
The "vanguard" of the tool industry
Forward is the only direction that is familiar to the organizers, exhibitors, and visitors of the exhibition. The evolution of the tool, which in 17 years has stepped from the end of the last century into the new millennium, took place "before our eyes" and with the support of MITEX. Every year, companies do not cease to amaze with their products and developments, and the organizers strive to update the format taking into account modern trends.
At MITEX 2024, advanced equipment and technologies will be presented in 14 thematic sections, including: power tools, gardening equipment, welding equipment and PPE, metalworking, assembly, carpentry, construction tools, everything necessary for metal processing and cutting, car service, control and measuring devices, laser equipment, compressors, generators, diamond tools, hydraulics and much more.

In 2024, various events, master classes, conferences and competitions will be held at 4 thematic MITEX sites. To establish an international dialogue, a meeting space with Chinese partners has been organized. Conferences on the development of the tool industry will be held in the MITEX ARENA section. The new MITEX PARK site will present the latest landscape design solutions. And the MITEX DIY zone will delight with master classes on woodworking and other materials from bloggers-masters.
