The delegation of TMK and the Sinara Group held fruitful negotiations within the framework of the Russia-Africa Economic Forum

Representatives of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) and the Sinara Group held a number of fruitful meetings and negotiations with business partners during the Russia-Africa economic forum, which was held in Sochi. The combined delegation of both companies was headed by the Executive Director - First Deputy General Director of TMK Vladimir Oborsky.

The members of the delegation met, in particular, with representatives of the authorities and business circles of Egypt, Congo, Mozambique, Nigeria and some other African countries. During the meetings, prospects for cooperation and the participation of TMK and the Sinara Group in potential projects in Africa were discussed. In addition, working meetings were held on the sidelines of the forum with representatives of the Russian geological holding Rosgeologia, the Russian Export Center, the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, during which the implementation of current projects and promising areas of cooperation were discussed.

Representatives of TMK and Sinar's groups attended a plenary session with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and also took part in a number of panel discussions, in particular, “Transport infrastructure on the African continent. The Russia-Africa Economic Forum was held from 23 to 24 October 2019. Its goal is to create the most favorable conditions for the development of trade and economic relations between Russia and African countries, as well as to diversify the forms and directions of Russian-African cooperation.
