TMK received a tax award for its digitalization project
Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) has won the national competition "Award in the field of corporate taxation – 2024" in the nomination "Tax project of the Year" with the project "Digitalization of processing requests from tax authorities".
TMK's IT solution, which collects all requests from tax authorities received through various channels in a single register, allows tracking the processing cycle of such requests and sending prepared documents to the addressee, was highly appreciated.
As a result of the project, the efficiency of the company's departments interacting with tax authorities has significantly increased – the processing speed of a single request from tax authorities has increased by an average of 20%. Also, thanks to the implementation of the solution, the company fulfilled one of the mandatory conditions for inclusion in tax monitoring – the integration of its systems with the unified automated system of the Federal Tax Service "Tax-3".
"The module allows you to more effectively monitor the process of receiving, executing, and responding to requests. In addition, if a tax dispute arises, thanks to our module, the collection of documents for preparing objections and appealing a decision is accelerated several times – through a search inside the module, you can quickly find complete correspondence and documents on the disputed episode. In addition, we can keep advanced statistics and perform analytics on a variety of parameters in the shortest possible time," said Alexey Kaftannikov, Director of TMK's Tax Planning Directorate.
The Corporate Taxation Award competition was established by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and Trust Technologies in 2016. The purpose of the competition is to highlight the professional achievements of tax teams, identify the best practices in the field of organizing the work of tax services and unite the professional community of tax experts. TMK has won the award for the third time: in 2016, the company won the "Tax Team of the Year" nomination, in 2022 – in the "Tax Project of the Year" nomination.
