TMK holds the VII corporate championship "Games of Masters"

The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) is holding the seventh corporate championship of professional skills "Games of Masters" at four production sites of the company, in which more than 350 participants demonstrate their level of professional training.

The competitions are organized by TMK2U Corporate University and are held at the Volzhsky Pipe Plant (VTZ), Pervouralsky Novotrubny (PNTZ), Seversky (STZ) and Sinarsky (SinTZ) pipe plants, as well as at the V. I. Nazarov Polevskoye Multidisciplinary Technical College and Kamensk-Uralsky Polytechnic College (KUPK), which are TMK's partners in the federal project. "Professionalism".

The contestants include employees of TMK enterprises, students of secondary specialized educational institutions and representatives of other industrial companies (including the Sinara Group, the Russian Stainless Steel Company (RNC), SIBUR, etc.). They demonstrate their skills in 22 competencies: rolling machine, loader driver, gas cutter, laboratory chemical analysis, steel production, welding technologies, as well as in other areas. Each competence is divided into two categories: "Master's Hands" (for contestants under the age of 28) and "Golden Hands" (for participants aged 29 and older).

The skill of the competitors is evaluated by expert commissions, which include representatives of TMK and other manufacturing companies, as well as invited experts from various educational institutions. Business, entertainment and sports programs are also organized for the participants within the framework of the championship.

"The traditional "Games of the Masters" championship allows employees to objectively assess their own level of professionalism and identify growth points. The event plays an important role in strengthening corporate culture, provides an opportunity for employees to show their potential, and for management to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and build a talent pool. In addition, the championship has an important career guidance component — over the past two years, students have been participating in it. Their number has increased significantly this year," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management.

The corporate championship "Games of Masters" has been held at TMK since 2018. Since 2023, students from partner colleges have also participated in it, which allows young people to get a real-life work practice and get to know a potential employer.
