TMK has expanded its range of equipment for the oil industry
Chelyabinsk Metal Structures Plant (CHZMK), part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), has manufactured equipment for the oil industry for the first time. Vertical steel tank with pontoon (RVSP) The volume of 30 thousand cubic meters for oil storage will be used for the implementation of the project for the development of fields in Eastern Siberia.
The tank with a total weight of 723 tons is made of high-strength hot-rolled steel. The height of the structure reaches 23 meters, the inner diameter is 45.8 meters. The equipment, in addition to the housing, includes internal stairs, a sealing system, as well as special safety devices for the stability of the floating roof and reducing wind exposure.
The special feature of the tank is the presence of a pontoon, which ensures tightness, protects the contents from precipitation and prevents evaporation of materials.
"This is a technically very complex product, and the plant's team has successfully completed the task, mastering the production of a unique product. It took seven months to manufacture the tank, from the drawing to the shipment of the finished product. The fulfillment of such non—standard orders confirms that CHZMK occupies a leading position in the field of domestic engineering," said Evgeny Gubanov, Managing Director of TMK's Mainline engineering division.
CHZMK has extensive experience in the development and manufacture of equipment for enterprises in the metallurgical, construction, oil refining and other industries. In particular, CHZMK products are used at metallurgical plants in the Southern Urals, in the construction of civil facilities, sports facilities, airports and other facilities.
