TMK has identified the best specialists in the field of quality
The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) has held the fourth corporate competition "The best Quality Service Specialist — 2025". The participants were 20 employees of the company who had previously passed the qualifying stages at their enterprises.
The Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe), part of TMK, became the competition site this year, and the evaluation program and methodology were developed by TMK2U Corporate University. On the first day, the participants tested their professional knowledge in a test format on the SOTA2U corporate HR platform and solved realistic business cases in teams related to quality control, responding to the supply of substandard products, as well as strengthening customer relationships. On the second day, a series of business games in the format of negotiation duels took place.
The competition committee, led by Anatoly Sychev, TMK's Director of Quality, evaluated the participants' competencies such as understanding the technological process, the ability to plan, predict and organize work, focus on results and customer orientation.
According to the results of the competition, in the individual competition, the first place was awarded to the head of the technological bureau of the Orsk Machine-Building Plant (OMZ) Evgeniya Veigant, the second place was shared by Tatiana Galtsova, an engineer at the Central Testing Laboratory of the Volga Pipe Plant (VTZ), and the control foreman of the Technical Control department of the Taganrog Metallurgical Plant (TAGMET). Evgeny Sharafanenko, the third place was taken by the supervisor of the quality control service of the pipe rolling workshop No. 1 of the Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) Evgenia Muratova. A separate nomination "Best Negotiator" was awarded to Irina Popkova, the supervisor of the product quality control section of the pipe rolling workshop No. 1 of the Seversky Pipe Plant (STZ).
The team competition was won by a group that included Tatiana Galtsova, an engineer at the Central Testing Laboratory of the VTZ, Alexey Purtov, a supervisor at the TMK-INOX Technical control department, Evgenia Muratova, a supervisor at the quality control service of the ChelPipe Rolling mill No. 1, and Evgenia Muratova, a supervisor at the technical control section of the pipe welding workshop "Height 239" at TMK Pipeline Solutions (TMK TR) Natalia Klyuchnikova and Evgeniya Veigant, Head of the OMZ Technology Bureau.
