ESAB Industrial Solutions in the spotlight at Mining and Metals Central Asia 2025
The Mining and Metals Central Asia 2025 exhibition was held from September 17 to 19 at Atakent Exhibition Center (Almaty, Kazakhstan), bringing together the main participants and players of the mining and metallurgical industry. ESAB, an international manufacturer of metal welding and cutting solutions, took an active part in the event, presenting a range of equipment and consumables for production tasks.
At the center of the ESAB exposition was the Transmig 500DP industrial inverter source for welding carbon, stainless steels and aluminum alloys, designed for continuous operation 24/7. The ESAB RUSTLER EM455i semi-automatic inverter machine, equipped with modes for controlling short and long seams and inductance control, was also presented to the exhibition participants.
A live welding demonstration was held at the company's site, an interactive photo zone with prizes was organized, and well-known blogger and welder Dmitry Bigeev visited the stand as part of the exhibition.
A separate section of the exhibition was devoted to welding materials. The guests of the stand were able to get acquainted with the OK 48P electrodes with increased productivity, the OK 61.30P stainless steel electrode, the T-590 main welding electrode for miners, as well as the UONIA 13/55 electrodes in the VacPac package.
FALCON 6013 rutile electrodes, a universal solution specially developed for Kazakhstan, were presented among the premieres. Thanks to the technology that does not require calcination, they work confidently even on unprepared surfaces, reducing welding time and increasing welding reliability in all conditions.
New products have been added to the welding wire line: economical Weld G3Si1 wire, Weld O-100 surfacing wire with a three-fold increase in productivity, SV-08G2S wire for the mining industry and OK PRO 71 powder wire to increase productivity when welding in spatial positions.
"We are pleased that the exhibition was productive and brought together leading experts from the region. ESAB's new solutions, designed specifically for industrial applications and harsh environments, have aroused keen interest from representatives of Central Asian companies. This confirms that the reliability and performance of equipment that meets international safety standards remain key selection criteria for industry professionals," Ekaterina Tatarinova, Director of ESAB Kazakhstan LLP, Head of the ESAB Central Asia and Caucasus region, commented on the results of the participation.
Participation in the Mining and Metals Central Asia exhibition has once again confirmed ESAB's status as a reliable partner for industrial enterprises and the mining sector.
