TMK shared its management system audit experience at the Roskachestvo Forum
Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) shared its experience in conducting an internal audit of the corporate management system (KSM) at the World Quality Day International Forum, which is being held in Moscow by the autonomous non-profit organization Russian Quality System (Roskachestvo). TMK is a partner of the event.
During the sessions "Quality Management System management: from theory to practice" and "Tools and technologies for conducting audits of management systems" Lyudmila Beltseva, Head of TMK's Quality Management Systems Service, noted that the management of the KSM internal audit system is closely linked to the company's overall management system, which requires its evolution and adjustment taking into account changes in the corporate structure.
At TMK, many business processes are end-to—end and permeate the company both vertically, from the management company to divisions and enterprises, and horizontally, connecting divisions and enterprises. The corporate management system is monitored at the corporate, division, and enterprise levels. The use of appropriate software in the KSM infrastructure allows you to aggregate an extensive array of data in one archive and reduce the time for their processing, analysis and timely corrective measures.
"One of TMK's strategic priorities is to build the structure and business processes of KSM in accordance with the best international practices. The established KSM internal audit system allows for a comprehensive assessment of the compliance of the management system with applicable standards, taking into account such components as product quality, occupational safety and environmental protection," Lyudmila Beltseva said.
TMK's internal audit system is one of the methods used to assess the effectiveness of KSM operations, compliance with consumer requirements, legislation, and internal regulatory documents of the company's enterprises. The effectiveness of TMK's corporate management system has been repeatedly noted by experts in various ratings and awards, including in the field of quality.
The World Quality Day Forum is a discussion platform focused on issues of quality, efficiency and sustainable development. The event is being held for the sixth time as part of World Quality Day, which is celebrated annually on the second Thursday of November. TMK regularly participates in the forum.
