MEGAPOLIS EXPO 2025: Trends, solutions and people changing cities

On November 14, the joint exhibition project "MEGAPOLIS EXPO: technologies and Solutions for Modern Cities" was completed at the Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow. Three major industry events took place on the same site: MITEX (tools and technologies), UtiliCon (housing and communal services and construction complex) and
"AUTUMN Climate World" (climate systems). A single platform for
demonstrations of innovation and business interaction allowed to discuss
the integrated development of a modern metropolis, where technology directly affects the quality of the urban environment.
The MEGAPOLIS EXPO exposition occupied more than 60,000 m2 and brought together about 1,000 companies from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, India, Taiwan, Italy and Turkey. The number of visitors was over 38,000, making the exhibition one of the largest industry events of 2025. The participants presented solutions for urban infrastructure, from street lighting and engineering systems to digital management platforms and landscaping technologies.

The UtiliCon exhibition has become a central platform for specialists in the construction industry, engineering infrastructure and housing and communal services. The exhibition brought together manufacturers and suppliers of engineering networks, lighting systems, equipment for urban maintenance and technologies for the introduction of "smart" city management. A special place of the exhibition was occupied by the "Innovation Cluster", a space for young teams with promising developments. The UtiliCon block has strengthened cross-industry cooperation, ensuring interaction with related segments - instrumental and climatic.

The AUTUMN Climate World became a meeting place for HVAC/R-market specialists, where leading companies presented modern solutions for ventilation, air conditioning, air exchange and air purification, as well as technologies for energy-efficient management of building engineering systems. The exposition and business program were aimed at discussing issues of comfort and safety in public, commercial and social facilities, reducing energy consumption, digitalization of climate systems and adaptation of buildings to new standards.

For the 18th time and for the first time, the MITEX 2025 exhibition was held as part of the MEGAPOLIS EXPO. Fourteen thematic sections combined power tools, welding equipment, construction and gardening equipment. An important part was the section dedicated to a tool for landscaping and caring for green areas in the city and on household plots. The interactive platform MITEX PARK hosted a series of master classes by leading landscape architects and masters of topiary art.
