TMK shared its experience in developing human resources
Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) develops human resources through participation in the federal project "Professionalism", adaptation of employees and assistance in their rapid integration into production processes, mentoring, and the use of modern training formats, including digital solutions and simulators. Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Human Resources Management, told about this at the annual forum of leaders, CEOs and HR directors "The New Reality of Management 2026", which was held with the support of Forbes Russia.
At the session "Working hands: alternative solutions to the problem of personnel shortage", she presented the programs that the company implements to form a sustainable personnel reserve. In particular, TMK has been participating in "Professionalism" since 2022, which allows the company not only to reduce the burden on the external labor market, but also to hire specialists who are already adapted to the requirements of enterprises. The educational programs of Profesionality were developed with the participation of TMK2U Corporate University and factory employees, which ensures a high level of graduate training.
In addition, TMK provides opportunities for internal staff mobility through TMK2U programs for obtaining additional qualifications. It also helps to build a talent pool and expand the professional opportunities of employees who are interested in career growth.
"TMK systematically approaches the training of qualified personnel and the development of professional competencies of its employees. Participation in the Professionalism project plays an important role in this work: about 600 graduates of the programs have already been employed at the company's enterprises. An essential element of the training system is the development of mentoring — today the company employs more than 5,000 mentors, which makes it possible to accelerate the adaptation and training of employees," said Elena Pozolotina.
The annual forum "The New Reality of Management" brings together top management, entrepreneurs and leading experts in the field of personnel management. In 2026, the participants discussed the current situation on the labor market and the challenges facing employers — reasonable investments in technology, the effectiveness of introducing AI agents into personnel processes, and the necessary solutions to achieve sustainability, well-being, and preserve the organization in the new environment.
