TMK was recognized for its development of industrial tourism and presented its experience at the international forum.
Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) participated in the Russian-Chinese Industrial Tourism Forum "Open Industry". The practices implemented in the company were presented by Anna Trepalova, Head of TMK's Industrial tourism department, at the plenary session "From industrial tourism to shaping the image of Russian industry — experience, successes, new development vectors." She also received an award on behalf of the company for the development of the tourism potential of the company's enterprises.
She spoke about the industrial tourism programs of TMK's four branches.: Volzhsky Pipe (VTZ), Pervouralsky Novotrubny (PNTZ), Seversky Pipe (STZ) and Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling (ChelPipe) plants. These sites offer comprehensive industrial tourism routes that showcase real production and the history of enterprises, as well as guided tours in various formats and themed events.
Promising areas for TMK are the preservation of industrial heritage, the development of industrial tourism as an ecosystem of strategic communications and joint projects with representatives of culture and art — theatrical productions, concerts, performances, art residences.
The award ceremony for the best projects of the All-Russian Educational Program for the development of industrial tourism "Open Industry" was also held within the framework of the forum. TMK received the diploma "Leader of Industrial Tourism" for demonstrating the achievements of the industry of the Russian Federation.
"TMK considers industrial tourism as an important tool for strategic communications and consistently develops this area in its enterprises. Participation in the international forum allows the company to present its accumulated experience to the professional community, strengthen interregional and international cooperation, and expand opportunities for replication of best practices in the field of industrial tourism," said Anna Trepalova.
The two-day Russian-Chinese Industrial Tourism Forum "Open Industry" is organized by the Government of the Amur Region and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI). The event was held in Blagoveshchensk and brought together more than 200 experts in the field of industrial tourism from Russia, Belarus and China. TMK enterprises have been participating in the ASI's "Open Industry" program since 2021.
