TMK supports the Uralskaya Strela Crossbow Sports Cup
The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) supported the holding of the first open regional crossbow tournament "Ural Arrow", which was held in Kamensk-Uralsky. TMK was represented at the competition by 20 employees of the company's branches — Seversky (STZ) and Sinarsky (SinTZ) pipe plants.
The participants competed in three age categories: children (under 16 years old), juniors (from 16 to 23 years old) and adults. The winner in the children's age category was Stepan Vasev, a member of the Eurasia Shooting Society, and Olga Litvinova, who represented the Kamensk—Ural Sports School, in the junior category. In the adult category, the first place was taken by STZ employees Anna Kotikova and Sergey Gribov. SynTZ employees Alexey Mukhlynin and Marina Ilyasova took the fourth and fifth places, respectively.
TMK co-organized the tournament together with the Sverdlovsk branch of the Russian Crossbow Federation. The company provided comprehensive support: it provided training for judges from among the staff of the STZ, organized a transfer for nonresident participants and helped to update the logistical base of the competition.

We consistently create conditions for the company's employees and young people in the cities where we operate to be able to engage in various sports, develop personal qualities and maintain a healthy lifestyle culture. Crossbow sport requires high concentration, discipline and self—control, qualities that are important not only in sports, but also in professional activities," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management.
"Holding such competitions contributes to the development of crossbow sports in the Sverdlovsk region, expands opportunities for training athletes of different levels and creates conditions for the exchange of experience. I would like to note the high level of organization of the tournament and the skill of the participants. I am confident that such initiatives will contribute to the further development of crossbow sports in the region and strengthen its position at the national level," said Vladimir Kutz, the chief referee of the tournament, a master of sports of international class, three—time world champion.
TMK is actively developing sports infrastructure in the regions where it operates. The company builds and updates modern sports facilities, acts as a partner in competitions in various sports, and participates in charity events.
