One, the buyer of large shipments, tells Kallanish about the possibilities at a price of 390 euros per ton "and even 380 euros per ton".

Most ordinary buyers would be happy with the price of 400 euros per ton, and we have replenished stocks quite a bit, so I do not know where the current offers are. - this is the manager from Hanover.

The mills seem to have collected a large number of offers, "and therefore announced a price increase," says a manager from the Frankfurt region.

While others confirm the move, the extent of the increase remains unconfirmed.

According to numerous buyers, the mills want to return to the market. 420-430 euros per ton, but at the moment we are happy to stabilize the price at 400 euros per ton.

Market players gave a wide variety of explanations for how the temporary price decline occurred in July. While another notes ongoing geopolitical issues, including a short-term drop in oil and energy prices due to a potential peace agreement in the Persian Gulf.

"For a short time, there was an invasion of cheap deals by Italians in Southern Germany," says a manager from Hanover. "We have not received such offers in the north, but nevertheless, local factories had to respond, and that is why unrest was felt throughout the country."
