The Zenica Municipal Court in Bosnia and Herzegovina has ruled to institute bankruptcy proceedings against the Zenica steel mill. According to the court's decision, the bankruptcy procedure for the company's assets officially began at 3 p.m. on August 12, 2026. Jasmin Hadjirashidovich was appointed the bankruptcy trustee of the company. According to the resolution, creditors were asked to submit their claims against the company to the Zenica Municipal Court within 30 days from the date of publication of the decision in the Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Creditors must also notify the bankruptcy trustee within the same period of any security rights they hold with respect to the company's assets. The court also ordered the parties in arrears to the Zenica steel mill to immediately fulfill their obligations.
