The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) supported the admission of 760 students to the first year of professional educational institutions within the framework of the federal project "Professionalitet" in the Volgograd, Orenburg, Rostov, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, while recruitment continues in the Sverdlovsk region. The training will take place in eight specialties that are in demand in the pipe industry.
Volga Polytechnic College (VPT) accepted 175 first-year students, Kamensk—Ural Polytechnic College (KUPK) — 75, Orsk Technical College named after A. I. Stetsenko (OTT) — 112, Taganrog Technical College of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy "Tagmet" - 150, Chelyabinsk State Industrial and Humanitarian College named after A. I. Stetsenko. V. Yakovleva — 100, Polevskoy Multidisciplinary Technical School (PMT) named after V. I. Nazarov — 148 people. The latter continues to accept applicants.
Graduates of these educational institutions will be able to start their careers at the Volzhsky Pipe (VTZ), Orsk Machine—building (OMZ), Seversky Pipe (STZ), Sinarsky Pipe (SinTZ) and Taganrog Metallurgical (TAGMET) plants, in a separate division of TMK Pipeline Solutions (TMK TR) in Volzhsky, as well as at the Chelyabinsk enterprises of the company - Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe), TMK TR, TMK Steel Technologies and the plant "Connecting bends of pipelines" (SOT).
In addition, in Kamensk-Uralsky and Polevskoye, 80 first-year students began studying at KUPK and PMT within the framework of cooperation between colleges and TMK Technical Service (TMK Techservice)— the operator of TMK enterprises.
The project participants will master the specialties "Metalworking in metallurgical production", "Ferrous metallurgy", "Mechanical engineering technology", "Welding production", "Automatic control systems", "Mechatronics and robotics", "Installation, maintenance, operation and repair of industrial equipment", "Operator-adjuster of metalworking machines", "Operation and maintenance of electrical and electromechanical equipment" and other areas of training in demand in production.
