The 25th International Exhibition of Welding Materials, Equipment and Technologies Weldex 2026 will be held from October 6-9 at Crocus Expo. It is a key platform for welding industry professionals. Manufacturers and suppliers will present equipment, materials and solutions for welding, and visitors will be able to get acquainted with market innovations and find business partners. Thousands of welding professionals from various fields visit the exhibition every year.: metalworking, mechanical engineering, oil and gas, shipbuilding, housing and communal services, industry.
The guests will enjoy an exhibition, a business program and professional competitions. More than 120 companies will present their products and solutions at the exhibition. Among the exhibitors this year is the Acropolis trademark, a dealer and strategic partner of ESAB in Russia. At the stand, the company will present new products from ESAB and demonstrate different types of welding in practice.
Guests will see manual arc welding with a non–melting tungsten electrode in a protective gas environment - TIG. This method provides a neat, high-quality and airtight seam without splashes and slag. This type of welding is used in aircraft manufacturing, rocket engineering, nuclear power engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, and electronics. The key feature of the method is that it is possible to work with metals of small and ultra–small thicknesses – from 0.4 mm to 4 mm.
Another type of welding that can be seen in action is manual arc welding with a coated electrode (MMA). This is a classic method that does not require additional equipment – cylinders, protective gases and a gearbox. It is widely used in the construction and installation of metal structures.
The MIG/MAG welding method will be demonstrated by this year's new product from ESAB, the industrial semi–automatic machine of the new generation Fabricator EM 510i (Advanced). It is suitable for welding in conditions of intensive daily work and air-arc gouging, which allows sampling of welded metal with defects, removing seam reinforcement and performing separation welding of aluminum and stainless steel. The device allows you to switch operating modes according to preset parameters – there are three memory cells in total, they can be switched directly from the burner. But the key feature of the device is in the four–stroke special mode (4T2), it allows you to quickly adjust the current and voltage – increase or decrease them relative to the nominal setpoint right during welding.
An updated line of personal protective equipment for work will also be presented: masks and welder's leggings. In addition, visitors to the stand of the Acropolis trading company will be able to participate in the prize draw. Each participant will receive a gift, and the main prize will be a welding machine and a mask.
