One site and three industries: what topics will be discussed at the MEGAPOLIS EXPO 2026 exhibition project

From November 10 to 13, the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center will host the large-scale MEGAPOLIS EXPO project, which unites three industry exhibitions: UtiliCon, MITEX, and Climate World. One of the central events of the project will be a business program that will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, developers, management companies, and government representatives to discuss housing, climate, and tool industries.

Modernization of housing and communal services and urban infrastructure

UtiliCon, an international exhibition of services, technologies, and materials for housing and communal services and construction, is supported by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of the Russian Federation. The business program is dedicated to the modernization of urban infrastructure and the sustainable development of housing and communal services. 14 thematic events are planned with the participation of about 90 speakers. Among the topics are utility networks, digitalization of housing and communal services, capital repairs of residential buildings and landscaping.

On November 12, a key plenary session will be held on the topic "Large-scale transformation of housing and communal services in 2026: from overcoming infrastructure risks to a unified national management platform." The purpose of the session is to update the housing and communal services modernization strategy within the framework of the Infrastructure for Life national project, combining the efforts of the government and business to ensure the reliability of public utilities, improve the quality of services, and guarantee the long—term development of the entire industry. Sessions of the Russian Ministry of Construction dedicated to the digitalization of urban infrastructure and labor productivity will also be held on this day.

In addition, participants will discuss the management of apartment buildings and tariff regulation, as well as energy conservation, import substitution, and creating a comfortable urban environment. Mechanization and robotization of communal processes are also among the priority topics.

A separate block of the program is master classes and demonstrations from UKK Mosoblgaz, which will be held from November 11 to 13. Throughout the exhibition, those interested will be able to consult on issues related to free vocational training within the framework of the federal project "Active Measures to Promote Employment" and personnel training for rural areas.

"This year, the concept of the business program has changed qualitatively. Now each exhibition has its own discussion platform. This allowed us to get away from generalized topics and focus UtiliCon tracks exclusively on targeted, urgent demands of the housing and communal services industry, such as the implementation of the Infrastructure for Life project, the standards of the Ministry of Construction for the Criminal Code, management of the MCD and others," said Dmitry Fedotov, program director of the UtiliCon exhibition.
