Metalloinvest has confirmed the leading position in the index group for sustainable development
Company metalloinvest has again ranked among the leaders of the indices of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs (RSPP) in the field of sustainable development at the end of 2019.
Results of the sixth cycle of ESG indices of "Responsibility and transparency" and "Vector for sustainable development" was presented at the joint meeting of the Committee on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, RSPP and Association of European businesses (AEB).
the company was included in group A, including 12 companies with the highest index value of "Responsibility and transparency". It reflects the level of disclosure of sustainable development information in public corporate reports of the Russian companies (112 largest companies on the ratings of RBC RAEX 500 and 600). Index measures how the quantity and quality of this information reflect the impact of companies on social and natural environment.
in addition, the company was among the 30 leaders who showed the positive dynamics of the index "Vector for sustainable development". The index characterizes the change of the companies ' performance in sustainable development. It shows whether there is any environmental "price" of production, and how much greater becomes the contribution to social welfare.

the RSPP is preparing a sustainability indexes every year since 2014. The project aims to improve the quality of governance in the field of sustainable development, increasing transparency and improving public accountability.
