The Japanese delegation visited the Bratsk Ferroalloy Plant

A delegation of the Japanese company Mitsui & Co paid a working visit to the Bratsk Ferroalloy Plant (part of the Mechel Group). It includes specialists in the procurement of ferroalloys in the Russian Federation.

Mitsui & Co is one of the world's leading trade and investment companies headquartered in Tokyo. The corporation is a constant consumer of BZF products within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation signed in 2009.

Specialists from Japan travel to Bratsk annually to update information on current production and prospects for further work. During the visit, the guests were interested in the technical equipment of the plant, as well as the quality of products. Annually BZF ships to Mitsui & Co about 10 thousand tons of high-quality ferrosilicon FS-75 with a low content of impurities. In Japan, brotherly ferroalloys are used for steel production.

“The Japanese corporation Mitsui & Co and BZF have long-term cooperation. Experts regularly visit our facility to be confident in the company's ability to provide an uninterrupted supply of high quality products. This time the Japanese guests were also able to see and appreciate the "hot" process of ferrosilicon production. As a result of the visit, they confirmed that the quality of the products meets their requirements, "says Sergey Sokolov, Managing Director of BZF LLC.
