BSF signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of ecology

Bratsk Ferroalloy plant (part of Mechel Group) signed a quadripartite agreement on cooperation in the field of ecology. Within the document the plant up to 2024. is implementing environmental measures to reduce emissions.

Signatures under the document have put the Minister of natural resources and ecology of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kobylkin, head of the Federal service for supervision in the sphere of nature Svetlana Radionova, Deputy Minister of natural resources and ecology of the Irkutsk region Andrey Kryuchkov and managing Director of "BSF" Sergey Sokolov.


the Company has committed itself to the modernization of the gas outlet on the three ore-thermal furnaces. The conversion will involve in General gazohody system Letoonia gases generated by the metal output from the furnaces. The project will be a continuation of the conservation measures that the plant has implemented previously. In particular, during 2003-2010 BSF all furnaces were equipped with modern high-performance gazoochistnym plants with bag filters.
