Bratsk Ferroalloy plant (OOO "BSF" is included into Group "Mechel") listed on the national register of the leading industrial enterprises of Russia, on the proposal of the city Administration of Bratsk in Irkutsk region.

BSF produces two grades of ferrosilicon with a silicon content of 65% and 75% (these products are used for steel production at the metallurgical enterprises). The share of the plant accounts for about 16% of domestic production of ferrosilicon. In 2019, total smelting products exceeded 70 thousand tons. Ferrosilicon is delivered to the enterprises of the Group "Mechel" sold on the domestic and foreign markets. Today the plant employs more than 600 people.

In the past fraternal year, the plant contributed more than 60 million rubles of tax deductions in regional and local budgets.

the Register of leading enterprises is compiled on the basis of proposals of state and municipal authorities. Enterprises should play a significant role in the development of industry in Irkutsk region and Russia as a whole. The list presents 73 organizations in the region.
