Bratsk Ferroalloy plant (part of Mechel Group) has shipped 2.5 million tons of scrap metal.

Of which 1.3 million tons is scrap released during the reconstruction of the ore-thermal furnace №3. Additional income of the company from the sale of iron scrap amounted to 10 million rubles. BSP also implemented non-ferrous metals – more than 14 tons of scrap copper.

the Major amount of the ferrous scrap sold and sent for recycling Guryevsky metallurgical plant (Kemerovo oblast) – one of the oldest metallurgical enterprises of the country.

within the framework of technical re-equipment of ore-thermal furnace No. 3 (one of the four major units for the smelting of ferro-alloys) has assembled the equipment. Completed construction and electrical work. Retrofitting also involves the launch of a new flues from three notches ore-thermal furnaces and replace filters to reduce the impact on the environment.
