"Five stars": EKZ confirmed its high status
Kolchugino (Vladimir region)
Kolchuginsky plant "Elektrokabel" (part of the "Cable Alliance Holding", which unites the cable assets of UMMC) passed a comprehensive audit, confirming the compliance of the quality management system (QMS) with the requirements of five standards at once ... EKZ became the first enterprise in Russia to pass such a large-scale complex audit.
The audit included an analysis of compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001 (GOST R ISO 9001), industry standards IATF 16949: 2016 (automotive industry), ISO /TS 22163: 2017 (railway industry), STO Gazprom 9001, as well as the requirements of Rosenergoatom's voluntary certification.
ISO 9001: 2015 is an international requirement that formed the basis of all standards for system management. The ultimate goal is to build all the processes at the enterprise as efficiently as possible. The company must provide a high quality product at the lowest cost that satisfies all customer requirements. The task of quality management is to assess the risks in achieving this goal and the plant's capabilities.
In 3 days, 7 experts checked 17 departments of EKZ JSC, including all workshops. “EKZ is clearly aimed at understanding and fulfilling customers' requests for quality, quantity, timing and technical characteristics of products. During the audit, the auditors assess how these requirements are correctly translated in the documents for the products and how they are reproduced in the activities of the enterprise as a whole and in specific performers, ”said Andrey Novitsky, General Director of the Ural Inspectorate of the Russian Register.
According to Alexander Komnik, Deputy Director for Quality and Certification of EKZ JSC, during the audit the company mobilized all resources, demonstrating the high professionalism and competence of its employees. “In general, the plant has about 10 certificates, obtaining and regularly confirming standards for each of them is a huge job. The industries we serve, including oil and gas, nuclear, defense, put forward the most stringent requirements for suppliers. We are confident in the quality of our products and are ready to confirm it with any audits, "Komnik emphasized.
Next year, EKZ plans to combine external certification checks of the QMS with an audit of the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001: 2015 and industrial safety and labor protection management systems in accordance with ISO 14001: 2015.
