Uchaly (Republic of Bashkortostan)
UMMC will equip one of its key mining enterprises - Uchalinsky GOK JSC - with a set of mine lifting equipment developed by domestic manufacturers. PJSC Uralmashzavod (UZTM, part of the UZTM-KARTEX group) will supply the plant with three mine hoisting machines (SHPM) by November 2021, which will be used in the construction and operation of the new Skipovo-Kletovaya mine.
The first machine is a mobile tunneling (bucket) mine winder 2,6х2,2, the customer of which is LLC Mine Construction Administration (mine construction contractor) - commissioned in September. This is a new type of product for Uralmashzavod, intended for the construction of the Skipo-Kletovaya mine shaft. According to Andrei Vyatkin, the Uralmash Plant PTO and Subsidiary Plant designer, the mobile unit, developed in accordance with the customer's needs, consists of separate transportable blocks of full factory readiness, which helps to reduce the labor intensity and cost of construction and installation work on equipping the shafts, and shorten the mine construction time. “Putting mine winders 2.6x2.2 into operation will allow mine builders to significantly accelerate the rate of shaft sinking, reaching a speed of 55-60 meters per month,” noted Andrey Vyatkin.
For Uchalinsky GOK, PJSC Uralmashzavod will manufacture 2 more mine hoists that will be used in the Skipo-Kletovaya shaft of the Novo-Uchalinskoye deposit. “At the same time, one of the machines will be busy dispensing ore, and the second one will be busy lifting people, materials, rocks, etc.,” explained Ilyas Akhmedyanov, chief engineer of Uchalinsky GOK JSC.
The project for the construction of an underground mine at the Novo-Uchalinskoye deposit is a strategic project of UMMC, which is also included in the list of priority projects Republic of Bashkortostan. The balance reserves of the Novo-Uchalinskoye ore deposit are about 116 million tons.
