Albert Lyaskovsky has been appointed director of labor protection, industrial safety and ecology at Severstal
PJSC Severstal, one of the world's largest vertically integrated metallurgical and mining companies, announces the appointment of Albert Lyaskovsky as Director of Health, Safety and Environment.
His responsibilities will include improving the level of labor safety at all industrial sites, taking into account the increase in the number of contractors in connection with the implementation of large-scale investment projects. He is also subordinate to the Department of Ecology, which develops and implements Severstal's strategy to reduce the carbon footprint and address climate issues.
Valery Minchev, who previously held this post, will continue to work as the head of the Department of Labor Protection, Industrial Safety and Environment Severstal Russian Steel.
Albert Lyaskovsky began his career in 2001 in the department of labor protection, industrial safety and environmental protection of the Nizhnevartovsk oil refining association TNK OJSC (later on the basis of TNK, the Russian-British company TNK was created -BP). From 2008 to 2020, he worked at SIBUR, where he rose from the main expert in labor protection and industrial safety to the director of labor protection, industrial safety and environmental protection.
