The Children of Russia Charitable Foundation arranged a performance for the patients of the Children's Oncology and Hematology Center of the CSTO in Yekaterinburg.
Heroes of your favorite cartoons, circus performers and good mood. Such "guests" came yesterday to the patients of the children's cancer center. The Children of Russia Foundation (President of the Foundation - General Director of UMMC Andrey Kozitsyn) held a bright and sunny “Celebration for no reason” for the children.
The performance was held on the street platform near the main entrance to the oncology center. Patients and their parents watched the performances of acrobats, jugglers and gymnasts from the windows of the halls and wards. Children and adults rejoiced at circus performers and funny cartoons - life-size puppets.
“We participate because we understand how hard it is for children to be in a medical institution since March,” said Ksenia Kutupova, director of the Art Loft children's party studio Cloud ". “Our team is always willing to voluntarily support such actions.”
The holiday brought together not only volunteer artists. Volunteers helped fill “Boxes of Courage” for the children. We collected 12,000 rubles of charitable donations, using these funds to purchase small toys, puzzles, art sets and construction sets.
Small “prizes” for bravery during painful injections and droppers were handed over to representatives of the cancer center during the holiday. Thanks to the Foundation, such boxes were installed in the Center two years ago.
“Today children go to the treatment room knowing that they will receive a reward there,” said Anton Kuznetsov, head of the clinical psychology service, “the project is working and helping ".
Experts are sure that such holidays are also an excellent help in treatment. They are remembered for a long time and give a positive charge for several months.
“We want this“ Holiday without a reason ”to become an occasion for a good deed for many,” said Yulia Nutenko, director of the Fund. “Drawing attention to the problems of sick children, we urge you not to stand aside and support them.”
The “Box of Courage” project (https://help-childre.et/campaig/korobochka-hrabrosti/) will continue ... Anyone can replenish them at the office of the Children of Russia Charitable Foundation or send any amount of a charitable donation through the special project page.
