Metalloinvest Receives PRO EDO Award for Effective Implementation of Electronic Document Management
Metalloinvest received the PRO EDO award in the competition for the best electronic document management (EDM) projects in the Pro Recognition nomination and was shortlisted in the About Speed nomination. The expert jury highly appreciated the efficiency of EDF implementation with the Company's suppliers and customers. In addition, the winning project received the maximum number of votes in the online voting.
The transition to EDF is an important part of Metalloinvest's comprehensive digital transformation program aimed at improving the efficiency of business processes. EDF is being implemented by a multifunctional general service center - Metalloinvest Corporate Service LLC (MCS).
“Thanks to the solution for the integration of Kontur.Diadok and SAP S4 /HANA, created by our IT specialists, we got an end-to-end process: based on the document received in Kontur.Diadok, it became possible to automatically generate transactions in the accounting system, which made it possible to reduce time and labor costs for the execution and processing of documents, - noted the chief accountant of MC Metalloinvest - Managing Director of MKS Elena Shakhova. - EDM has made it possible to significantly speed up the workflow with counterparties, ensure the transparency of business processes and reduce the cost of paperwork. "
The project to introduce the exchange of electronic documents with counterparties, without duplication on paper, was organized on the basis of the Kontur.Diadok system from PF SKB Kontur JSC and started in the Company in 2017.
First of all, all intragroup transactions were transferred to legally significant electronic document flow, and then document flow with external contractors. The number of partners interacting with the Company for EDF is constantly increasing.
As a result of the introduction of EDM, it was possible to increase the quality and speed of information exchange, eliminate the loss of documents and increase the productivity of employees by reducing the time for preparing, processing and sending documents.
The competition for the best projects of electronic document management, established by SKB Kontur, is being held for the second year. The winners are determined in eight nominations. This year 60 organizations took part in the competition. Applications could be submitted by companies that have successfully launched EDI projects into commercial operation using the Kontur.Diadok or Kontur.EDI services.
