The strategic initiative Industry 4.0 is one of the most important and large-scale projects of MMK, which implies the introduction of advanced technological solutions and digitalization of production and business processes in all enterprises of the PJSC MMK Group. Formed at the end of 2019, together with the consulting company Deloitte CIS, the Industry 4.0 portfolio is designed for the period until the end of 2024, it includes 98 innovative initiatives grouped into four key technological streams: analytics, robotization and services, asset management and modeling It is expected that over five years, the implementation of all digitalization initiatives will bring the MMK Group an additional + 4.5% to EBITDA, which by the end of 2024 will amount to 140-160 million dollars, with capital investments of about 5 billion rubles. By the fall of 2020, Industry 4.0 projects had saved MMK more than $ 25 million. This year, in addition to the general award for the company, Vladimir Ruga, Deputy General Director of PJSC MMK for External Communications, received an award in the Priority Person category. for successful work in promoting the company's advanced technologies in the media. In 2020, MMK won the Priority prize for the fifth time in a row: before that, the company was awarded for commissioning a new sinter plant No. 5 equipped with the latest environmental technologies (2019), mastering polymer SteelArt rolled steel produced at the Lysva Metallurgical Plant (2018), the development of capacities for the production of high-quality galvanized steel (2017), and the development and introduction into industrial production of high-strength and wear-resistant MAGSTRONG steels (2016). The National Prize "Priority" was founded in 2015, simultaneously with the approval of the import substitution program of the Government of the Russian Federation for 2015 - 2020, with the aim of rewarding the most successful domestic companies that create products and technologies that promote import substitution and are internationally competitive. In 2020, the award changed its format - now it bears the name "Priority 2.0 National Award for the Effective Use of Advanced Technologies", and its awards are presented for achievements in the development, implementation and promotion of advanced domestic technologies in all areas of industry.
