Pipe Metallurgical Company announces decisions of the Board of Directors and changes in the company's management

Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) announces the decisions of the Board of Directors, which took place on June 21, 2019.

Dmitry Pumpyansky was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC TMK. The Board of Directors also decided to elect Igor Korytko, who previously held the position of Deputy General Director for Performance Management, as the General Director of PJSC TMK. Alexander Shiryaev, who previously held the position of CEO, will continue to work in the company as a member of the Board of Directors.

In addition, the Board of Directors elected members of the TMK Management Board as follows: Igor Korytko (Chairman of the Management Board), Denis Nesterov, Vyacheslav Popkov, Vladimir Oborsky, Tigran Petrosyan, Andrey Zimin, Sergei Chikalov.

“Over the years of Alexander Shiryaev's work as General Director, the company has become an international and one of the world's largest producers of steel pipes. Under his leadership, a large-scale program of technical re-equipment of enterprises was carried out, an advanced research base was created and unique competencies were accumulated, which allowed TMK to become a leader in the industry. On my own behalf and on behalf of the entire company, I express my deep gratitude to Alexander Shiryaev, - said Dmitry Pumpyansky. “I am confident that the new CEO Igor Korytko will continue to implement TMK's strategic initiatives, including digital business transformation, which will allow the company to strengthen its competitive position,” added Mr. Pumpyansky.

Igor Korytko began working at TMK in August 2018 and was appointed responsible for digital business transformation. Prior to joining TMK, he held executive positions at Mechel and its subsidiaries, as well as at the PETROSTAL Metallurgical Plant.

Born in 1974. Graduated from Chelyabinsk State Technical University (1997) with a degree in engineer and South Ural State University (1998) with a degree in economist-manager. Has gratitude from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
