BZF took part in the discussion of the "Clean Air" project

The director of the Bratsk Ferroalloy Plant (part of the Mechel Group) took part in a meeting dedicated to the implementation of the federal project "Clean Air" in Bratsk. The project is part of the national project "Ecology".

The event was also attended by the heads of other city enterprises, the mayor of Bratsk Sergey Serebrennikov, the head of the project office of the "Clean Air" project Alexander Vlasov, representatives of the Government of the Irkutsk region, Rosprirodnadzor and the Bratsk Administration. The participants discussed the problems of implementing environmental programs in Bratsk, which affect technical modernization, greening, environmental education of young people and a number of others.

BZF Managing Director Sergey Sokolov in his report spoke about the environmental projects of the plant.

“As part of our environmental activities, we are implementing the best available technologies, in particular for cleaning gases we use bag filters that can effectively capture dust. As part of our environmental program, we have planned the technical re-equipment of one of the furnaces, the modernization of the gas disposal system, the reclamation of the sludge pond and a number of other activities, "said Sergey Sokolov, Managing Director of BZF LLC.
