Competitions in the competencies “Welding technologies” and “Industrial automation” have begun in the Center for Demonstration Exams at the Yunost technical school. The competitions are held in the framework of the IX Open Regional Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia). The best in their field in Verkhnyaya Pyshma will be determined among students of colleges and technical schools of the Sverdlovsk region.

The site where welders and submachine gunners compete this year was opened in the fall of 2020. It is unique in the region in terms of equipment and capabilities. The center is designed to conduct demonstration exams in eight competencies at once: industrial automation, mechatronics, welding technologies, non-destructive testing, electrical installation, laboratory chemical analysis, maintenance of trucks, sheet metal processing. The site was created on the basis of a public-private partnership. UMMC financed the reconstruction of the building of training workshops of the Center with a total area of ​​2000 sq. m. in the amount of about 43 million rubles, and the regional government allocated 84.7 million rubles for the purchase of equipment for these workshops.

Part of the business program of the championship will be held in the Center for Demonstration Exams of the Yunost technical school: reports will be heard and a round table was organized. Experts will discuss the implementation of WorldSkills standards in the educational process, as well as talk about the combination of state and intermediate attestation of students and independent assessment of the qualifications of students of professional educational organizations of the Sverdlovsk region.

For the championship "Young Professionals" are involved the sites of a number of educational organizations in the region. The events will end on February 12, 2021. According to the results of the competition, the composition of the national team of the Sverdlovsk region in professional skill will be formed, which will represent the honor of the region at federal competitions.

Under the Agreement between the Government of the Sverdlovsk region and UMMC, since 2012, a project has been implemented to train highly qualified workers. The main site of the project was the Verkhnepyshminsk Mechanical and Technological College "Yunost". The educational institution at the expense of the regional budget has updated the material and technical base in the amount of about 180 million rubles, the Company participates in the development of educational programs of the technical school, organizes training for teachers and masters of industrial training at the enterprises of the UMMC. For students of "Yunost", additional classes are regularly held in specialized classrooms of the Technical University of the UMMC and the training center of JSC "Uralelectromed". Today, at the request of the company, within the framework of the project, the technical school trains electromechanics, machine operators, welders, auto mechanics, metallurgists, analytical chemists and instrumentation specialists.

The creation of the Center for Demonstration Exams of the Yunost technical school harmoniously complemented the built system of training highly qualified personnel. and also made it possible to improve the quality of training of students of technical schools in demanded specialties, to ensure the implementation of educational programs of secondary vocational education in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards, to implement programs of additional vocational education and vocational training not only for students, but also for workers for industrial enterprises of the Urals.
