Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant manufactured valves for compressor stations of Gazprom

The Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (PJSC ChMK, part of the Mechel Group) produced 1.2 thousand tons of fittings for the construction of the Portovaya and Divenskaya compressor stations in the Leningrad Region. The supply was carried out by the metal trading company of the Mechel Group - Mechel-Service.

During the construction of the stations, valves of grade 25G2S produced by the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Combine (part of the Mechel Group) are used. bay, from where gas enters the Nord Stream pipeline.

Portovaya is a unique facility in the global gas industry in terms of total capacity, operating pressure (220 atm.), distance of gas transportation, daily volume of gas drying ... The station will ensure the transportation of gas along the Nord Stream for 1200 km without creating additional compressor capacities. Earlier, Mechel-Service has already supplied 1,000 tons of valves for the construction of a complex for the production, storage and shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the vicinity of the Portovaya compressor station.

The Divenskaya compressor station is equipped with five gas pumping units with a total capacity of 125 MW. Construction is carried out within the framework of the project "Development of gas transmission capacities of the UGSS (Unified Gas Supply System) in the North-West Region". Completion of construction is scheduled for October 2020.
