JSC "Uralelectromed" has exceeded the record maximum for the production of copper cathodes

Uralelectromed JSC (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex) in 2020 produced 432,613 tons of cathode copper (105.5% to the level of 2019), which is an absolute record throughout the entire history of the enterprise.
According to the chief engineer of JSC Uralelectromed, Alexei Korolev, a new high production rate was achieved due to the rhythmic supply of raw materials, systematic technical re-equipment of workshops and intensification of production processes.
In 2020, the company also increased production of: gold bullion by 7%, silver bullion by 10%, copper powder products by 7%, and refined lead by 9%. In addition, the company increased the output of copper wire (+ 25%), conductive copper core (+87%).
