OJSC BMZ, the management company of the BMK holding, in 2020 invested more than Br4 million in ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for its employees, which is 11% higher than the level of 2019.

More than 75 % of the financial resources allocated by the enterprise were directed to the purchase of overalls and other personal protective equipment, medical examinations and provision of medicines, as well as the implementation of measures to improve and ensure safe working conditions for the plant workers. The rest of the labor protection costs are spent on providing employees with milk (equivalent food), washing and disinfecting agents, as well as washing overalls and conducting research on workplaces.

& bsp; & bsp; If we talk specifically about improving working conditions, then in 2020, 59 relevant measures were implemented at BMZ. They cover 21 factory divisions and are aimed at both providing additional security and improving living conditions. For example, in the rolling shop No. 2, protective mesh frames were installed on the transitional bridges, in the power repair shop - a local hood at the metal-working machine section, in a number of other divisions, saturators and refrigerators in the dining rooms were replaced. The measures taken in total allowed to improve working conditions and reduce the risks of injury at workplaces for 2,840 factory workers.
