Among the milestones of his biography is his work for more than 6 years as a production director at OEMK, managing director of Ural Steel, head of section rolling shop No. 2 at OEMK.
OEMK is the only full-cycle metallurgical enterprise in Russia that implements the technology of direct reduction of iron and smelting in electric furnaces, which make it possible to obtain steel practically free from harmful impurities and residual elements. In 2020, OEMK produced over 4.1 million tonnes of iron ore pellets, 3.2 million tonnes of direct reduced iron (DRI) and 3.5 million tonnes of steel.
