UMMC plans to allocate more than two billion rubles in 2021 for the purchase of equipment for the Gaysky GOK

UMMC plans to spend more than two billion rubles in 2021 for the purchase of mining equipment to replace and modernize equipment worn out and not included in the construction budget for PJSC "Gaysky GOK" (enterprise of the raw materials complex of UMMC). Since the beginning of the year, the plant has received eight units of self-propelled mining equipment.
In particular, the Underground mine received four domestically produced vehicles - two drilling rigs and two loading and unloading equipment. Underground hydroperforating drilling rigs DF-B1 manufactured by Mashinostroitelny Holding JSC (Yekaterinburg) are designed for driving workings and tunnels with a cross section of up to 40 m 2 . The UMMC Ferrite loading and haulage machines were supplied by Shadrinsky Aggregate Plant JSC (an enterprise of the UMMC machine-building complex). In addition, a Caterpillar AD-30 mining dump truck with a lifting capacity of 30 tonnes has entered the service of the Underground mine miners.
For the first time, the Mine Construction Department received a universal equipment for mechanized bolting in hard rocks - the Boltec 235 brand (Sweden). The direct hydraulic unit is designed for versatility in small to medium sized workings. This installation has the ability to use most types of support, for example, Swellex, SplitSet, reinforced concrete, steel-polymer, with a mechanical spacer lock and others. With a consistent and fast bolting cycle, productivity increases, quality bolts are installed, and the working environment becomes safer.
This year, the mill is expecting the first delivery of 45 tonne Caterpillar mining trucks. The commissioning of this equipment will significantly increase the productivity of ore mining.

In total, in 2021 PJSC "Gaysky GOK" plans to extract more than 9.7 million tons of ore by underground and open pit mining. In addition to the Gaysky GOK, such enterprises of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company as Orenburgsky Radiator LLC (Orenburg), specializing in the development, introduction and serial production of radiator products; LLC "Mednogorsk copper-sulfur plant" (Mednogorsk), specializing in the production of blister copper.
