Revda (Sverdlovsk region)

An inflatable structure of impressive dimensions made of PVC appeared at SUMZ (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex). Its length is 134 meters, width - 35, and height - 17. The structure will serve as a warehouse of copper concentrate, it will fit about 30 thousand tons.

- A year ago in Cherepovets during a trip to one of the enterprises " Phosagro "we saw there a pneumo-frame structure for storing fertilizers," says Maxim Sladkov, Chief Engineer of PJSC SUMZ. - We studied information on the Internet, requested commercial offers from a number of companies for our terms of reference. The choice was made for OOO PnevmoStroy-SPB Group from St. Petersburg.

The enterprise needed additional storage space during the overhaul period in the copper smelting shop, when the load on the furnace decreases and, accordingly, less raw materials are processed.

- With the capacity of our closed warehouses at 11.5 thousand tons of copper, during the overhaul, it is expected that the remainder will increase to 15 thousand tons of copper, - explains Maxim Mikhailovich.

Pneumokarkasny the hangar made of balloon arches is durable and reliable. The pumping function is performed by an automatic air blower with an intelligent control system. The hangar was installed in less than a month, while the capital construction of the warehouse would have taken about two years and at least 200 million rubles. The cost of the hangar and additional equipment is 32 million rubles. Reference Sredneuralsky Copper Smelter PJSC is one of the largest chemical and metallurgical complexes in the Middle Urals.
