Complexity. Innovation. Technologies: ESAB has presented the premieres of the 2021 season
Moscow, May 28, 2021-ESAB, one of the leaders in the production of equipment and consumables for welding and cutting, took part in the exhibition "Metalworking 2021", where it presented digital services to ensure full control over the welding and cutting processes, as well as "smart" novelties of the 2021 season.
The invited guests at the company's stand were the members of the WorldSkills Russia team in the competence "Production of Metal Structures", who will represent the country at the 46th WorldSkills World Championship in Shanghai in 2022. Competition participant Maxim Kozhemanov and his mentor Ilnur Davletshin adopted the experience of the company's specialists and tested the new ESAB equipment, which fully meets the requirements of the WorldSkills Russia movement.
Also at the exhibition, the company demonstrated its digital technologies for welding and cutting metals to the leading industry media.
Among the solutions presented were the online cutting program CutCloud™ and the welding platform WeldCloud™, which allow you to track in real time the main parameters of each completed seam and the status of all equipment connected to the system, as well as record, measure and monitor welding and cutting operations. The data can be accessed from any device connected to the Internet.
Among the key features of the digital welding system is the ability to connect to WeldCloud almost any power source, both manufactured by ESAB and other brands, due to the universal WeldCloud Universal Connector.
The cutting software CutCloud™, in turn, allows you to automatically create and transfer to production cutting files and reports on the location and marking of parts, which significantly reduces the amount of time spent on documentation. The new version of CutCloud 3.0 also uses Microsoft Azure IoT technologies and the industrial innovation platform ThingWorx® from PTC, which allow you to import and visualize machine data.
In addition, at the ESAB stand, you could see the season premieres – new digital-controlled welding sources of the Rogue series, superportable welding machines of the HandyArc series, as well as welding sources for industrial pulse welding in heavy conditions of the Aristo series. In addition, the exhibition presented the company's advanced cutting solutions – small machines of the Cutmaster series and a portable system of the Handyplasma series.
"Metalworking unites different industries and welding and cutting find their application in almost all of them. It is no accident that we support several competencies at the WorldSkills Russia championships. And while digitalization remains the topic of reports for many equipment manufacturers, ESAB solutions have long been successfully used in production facilities around the world, and we are pleased to present them to companies from related industries, so that they can take a new look at welding and cutting processes and use these solutions for the benefit of their production in the future," commented Dmitry Kuraksa, Managing Director of ESAB Russia and CIS
