BZF increased product sales in the first half of the year

The Bratsk Ferroalloy Plant (part of the Mechel Group) doubled sales of FS-75 ferrosilicon in the first half of 2019 compared to the same period last year.

The increase in FS-75 sales is due to a change in the sales structure: demand for alloy with 75% silicon content in the foreign market has grown significantly. FS-75 is used as a raw material for smelting various grades of electrical steel, from which springs, springs, building and automobile parts are produced. The plant exported 83% of FS-75 ferrosilicon to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

“The increase in demand is supported by the consistently high quality of our products. The quality characteristics are confirmed by the ISO 9001-2015 certificate, the presence of which the clients attach great importance to, ”said Sergey Sokolov, Managing Director of BZF LLC.
