Ural Steel supplied metal for the construction of a gas pipeline between the Yaraktinskoye and Markovskoye fields

Ural Steel (part of Metalloinvest) produced and shipped strip made of K52-D steel of increased cold resistance for the Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant, which is part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK). The consignment is intended for the construction of the Yarakta oil and gas condensate field - Markovskoye oil and gas condensate field of the Irkutsk Oil Company in Ust-Kut.

The supply of high cold-resistance strip with a volume of more than 6 thousand tons was made in compliance with the requirements for impact strength KCV at a temperature of minus - 60 ° С. The norm for impact toughness relative to the standard test temperature of strip of this strength class minus - 20 ° C, doubled and amounted to 120 J /cm2.

Despite the stringent requirements for rolled metal, Ural Steel successfully coped with the set task and ensured the supply of high quality metal on time.
