Shadrinsk (Kurgan region)
The energy management system of SHAAZ JSC (an enterprise of the machine-building complex of UMMC) meets the requirements of ISO 50001, the auditor of TÜV Nord concluded and gave recommendations for its further improvement.
An annual supervisory audit of the compliance of the energy management system with the requirements of the ISO 50001: 2018 standard was held at the Shadrinsky Automotive Aggregate Plant. It was conducted by Dmitry Pankratov, a leading auditor of the international auditing company TÜV Nord, and Evgeny Rudakov, a specialist of the Energy Directorate of UMMC.
Analyzing documents and talking with the company's specialists, the auditors determined the degree of implementation of the energy management system, its effectiveness, opportunities for improvement.
- The auditors did not reveal significant inconsistencies with the requirements of the standard, therefore, after the development of corrective measures, the certificate will be extended for one year, - said Denis Boyarkin, Deputy Chief Power Engineer of ShAAZ JSC. - The press production, which is currently working on changing the metal cutting patterns and loading laser complexes, received a good assessment. The project is large-scale, while it is still underway, but already in the workshop they have achieved the first results in reducing the amount of metal waste and the time for manufacturing parts. All this directly affects energy efficiency.
Within the framework of the energy saving policy, a set of measures is implemented annually at the enterprise. This year, new insulated gates of the CHPP were installed, the replacement of the heat generator for drying wood in the container shop is planned, and the modernization of lighting in the divisions continues. On the eve of the autumn-winter season, energy and repair services are strengthening thermal insulation on the heating main and steam pipelines, and are carrying out regular adjustment of gas-consuming equipment.
In general, the implementation of these and other measures will allow ShAAZ JSC in 2021 to save more than 4 million rubles.
The energy management system of Shadrinsky Automotive Aggregate Plant JSC was first certified for compliance with ISO 50001 in 2017. Now, in accordance with the requirements of the certification body, the company undergoes annual surveillance audits and every three years recertification audits with a new certificate.
