Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District Vladimir Yakushev and Governor of the Kurgan Region Vadim Shumkov visited the Shadrinsk Automobile Aggregate Plant JSC, where they assessed the progress of work on the creation of the Shadrinsky Industrial Park. The guests were presented a project for the creation of a technopark, noting that the production of LHDs and mining dump trucks, as well as electrical harnesses for automotive equipment and diesel generator sets, will be located here. The total area of the park is 8.76 hectares. While construction work is underway at the site, it is planned to bring all the necessary engineering networks and create a testing ground. The park is due to start working in 2022 and the investment costs for the creation of the park will amount to more than 386 million rubles. Vadim Shumkov noted that the Kurgan region is extremely interested in the implementation of the project. The specialized regional departments assist in the preparation of the necessary documents for obtaining subsidies from the federal budget, which will reimburse part of the costs. Another part of the costs is borne by the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company. Vladimir Yakushev highly appreciated the prospects of this park. Previously, he called the construction of industrial parks one of the main competitive advantages of the Kurgan region.
