Metalloinvest took the top line in the Anti-Corruption Rating of Russian Business - 2021, sharing the first place with five other companies, and became the only organization without state participation in the top six with an A1 rating, which is awarded to organizations with the highest level of anti-corruption and the minimum level of risks associated with it.
The results of the rating were presented at the Anti-Corruption Forum held by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) as part of the Russian Business Week - 2021.
“The high score we received confirms the effectiveness of the measures taken to combat abuse and corruption in all forms and manifestations,” said Nazim Efendiev, CEO of Metalloinvest. “We will continue to work actively with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to implement the most effective practices and standards in this area.”
According to the results of the procedure "Public confirmation of the implementation of the provisions of the Anti-Corruption Charter of Russian Business", which provides for a thorough independent examination of the anti-corruption process, Metalloinvest was awarded 4.82 points.
The rating is based on an independent examination of documented evidence of compliance of companies' activities with the international standard ISO 37001: 2016 "Anti-Corruption Management Systems - Requirements and Recommendations for Application" and the provisions of the Anti-Corruption Charter of Russian Business.
This rating is held for the second year in a row with the aim of increasing the openness and transparency of Russian business. This year 59 largest companies of the country took part in it.
