Photo quality of the new IPhone
Most modern people, when choosing a smartphone, first of all pay attention to the quality of the pictures. It is no secret that a smart device has long replaced the classic camera for many. And in some cases IPhone 12 Pro Max can even compete with DSLR cameras. But, do cameras installed on a premium mobile device work so well?
A little about technical characteristics
Dry numbers alone won't tell you much. But, they need to be mentioned, since they will still appear in comparative analyzes. The professional version has an additional telephoto lens that can bring distant objects closer. All cameras have the same number of pixels, equal to 12. But, completely different focal lengths:
- F /2.2 front camera.
- F /2.4 wide-angle glass eye.
- F2.0 telephoto lens.
- Basic camera F /1.6.
The significantly improved aperture ratio of the main camera allows for much higher quality images with faster shutter speeds in low light. In addition, the manufacturer has worked on the software. Sophisticated intelligent image processing can produce stunning results. A worthy competitor to many top models from other smartphone manufacturers.
Leading the way
With the right settings, in firm hands and with the proper use of internal capabilities, even a mediocre smartphone can show an artistically acceptable result. But, the top IPhone line has a significant advantage, built-in cameras give an amazing result in terms of quality. And the following factors contribute to this:
- electronic image stabilization;
- increased light sensitivity compared to other models;
- intelligent processing of the received result;
- wide possibilities of fine-tuning;
- excellent automatic data provided by the manufacturer.
The LiDAR sensor makes its own additional adjustments. It is found only on phones with the bitten apple label. Consequently, the manufacturer is a monopolist in this area. The sensor improves image quality primarily at night. But, even during daylight hours, under unfavorable conditions (against the solar disk), the sensor works wonders that were previously available only to professionals in photo editors.
