Apple fined in France for 1.1 billion euros for anti-competitive behaviour
the French competition authority has fined the American manufacturer iPhone 1.1 billion euros for anti-competitive behavior in its distribution network and the abuse of economic dependence of their Resellers.
French authorities said that the wholesale Apple Tech Data and Ingram Micro also was fined 76 million and EUR 63 million for illegal pricing.
"Apple and its two wholesaler has agreed not to compete with each other and not allow distributors to compete with each other, thereby sterilizing the wholesale market for Apple products," - said the Minister Isabel de Silva.
