These metal products react to changes in pressure. If it decreases (which may indicate a leak), the valve closes and the substance does not enter the part of the pipeline with the suspected leak. As a rule, such elements in filtration plants are used as auxiliary ones. This is due to the fact that they are unable to operate in case of minor leakage of connections or minor damage to pipes. The design of the system consists of a coupling in which a spring valve is installed. It is mounted on the supply pipe line.

Such devices are the most reliable and can prevent even a small leak of the working medium. They include several fundamental components:

    The principle of operation is based on the fact that almost any liquid is capable of conducting electric current. During operation, when a malfunction occurs, water enters the electrode of the product, resulting in the circuit being closed. The electric pulse is supplied to the controller, which in turn ensures that the locking mechanism is closed via an electric drive.

    Filters with leakage protection are actively used in technological systems of various enterprises, from utilities to heat and power complex. To maximize the efficiency of devices, a number of criteria should be taken into account. First of all, this is the maximum permissible pressure in the pipeline. The installation option (flange, coupling, welded) is also taken into account. If an electronic system is used, then it is necessary to pay attention to the sensitivity and type of connection to the power system.
