INTERSTATE STANDARD

DOUBLE STEEL HOT ROLLED

SORTS

GOST 8239-89

Moscow

INTERNATIONAL STANDARD

Valid from 01.07.90

Failure to comply with the standard is punishable by law

This standard specifies the range of hot rolled steel I-beams with a slope of the inner edges of the flanges.

1. The cross-section of the I-beams must correspond to that indicated in the drawing. 1.

h - I-beam height; b - shelf width; s - wall thickness; t - average shelf thickness; R - radius of the inner rounding; r - flange radius

Damn. 1

Note. The slope of the inner edges of the shelves should be 6-12%.

Table 1

Notes:

1. The cross-sectional area and mass of 1 m of the I-beam are cleaned according to nominal dimensions; the density of the steel is assumed to be 7.85 g /cm 3 .

2. The values of the radii of rounding, the slope of the inner edges of the shelves, the thickness of the shelves, indicated in fig. 1 and in table. 1, are given for building calibers and are not monitored on finished hire.

3. The tables use the following notation:

I - moment of inertia;

W - moment of resistance;

S - static half-cut moment;

i - radius of gyration.

4. I-beams from No. 24 to No. 60 are not recommended for new designs.

2. Nominal dimensions of I-beams, cross-sectional area, mass and reference values for axes must correspond to those given in table. 1.

3. I-beams are made according to the rolling accuracy:

increased accuracy - B,

normal precision - V.

4. Limit deviations in the size and shape of the cross-section of I-beams (Fig. 1-2) must correspond to those given in table. 2 .

b 1 - width of the shortened flange; b 2 - the width of the extended flange; D - shelf skew; f - wall deflection

Damn. 2

Table 2

Dimensions, mm

_____________

* Positive deviations are limited to maximum deviations in weight.

5. The deflection of the wall ( f ) must not exceed 0.15 S .

6. The curvature of the I-beam should not exceed 0.2% of the length.

7. Blunting of the outer edges of the flanges of I-beams of increased accuracy should not exceed 2.2 mm, for I-beams of normal accuracy it is not controlled.

8. Profiles are made in lengths from 4 to 12 m:

measured length;

multiple measured length;

unmeasured length.

By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, it is allowed to manufacture I-beams over 12 m long.

9. Deviations in mass of 1 m of an I-beam should not exceed plus 3, minus 5%.

By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, the deviation in mass without control of the thickness of the shelves and the I-beam wall should not exceed plus 3, minus 3% for I-beams up to No. 16 and plus 2.5, minus 2.5% for I-beams over 16. p>

10. Dimensions and geometric shape are controlled at a distance of at least 500 mm from the end of the I-beam.

The height of the I-beam is controlled in the Y - Y plane.
